This doll was carved by Otis in the late '70s. He made upwards
of fifty of these bodies for his sister living in Washington State.
His sister then made the clothes for the dolls and sold them in
a local boutique. The dolls sold quickly and Otis' sister put in
an order for more. Otis told me that he never filled the repeat
order for his sister. Where these dolls ended up nobody knows,
but if you happen to be in the Almira Washington area, you
might want to try to track one down. The doll measures 12"
tall, features movable joints, and a strange "alien" head shape.
The crotch area is signed, OTIS LAEL. - (not shown) :)
