Otis Lael shown standing next to his giant fish decoy. The fish measures over

eleven feet long and weighs over 300 lbs. It is filled with lead ballast.

There is a Folk-Art Frog inside its mouth and it has metal fins, tail and teeth.

This photo was taken in February of 2005 in Otis' back yard. The decoy was

presented to the National Fish Decoy Association in April of 2005.

While its designation as a world record may be unofficial, its testament

to the imagination of this great folk-artist is definitely official. What a fish!!
